Who we are
3 ah Card is a mobile card game made by Radikal Studios, a registered business in Jamaica. This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and the choices you have. You can contact us at apps.radikalstudios@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your game account. When you first open the game, we create an account with a random ID and a default display name. A sign-in key is kept securely on your device; our servers store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it.
- Your display name and choices. The name you pick, your avatar, card back, table and saved rule presets.
- Gameplay information. Matches you play, scores, the rules used, your chips and Dumplings balances and their history, items you own, stats, achievements and leaderboard results.
- Player safety information. Reports you send or that other players send about you, and players you block. We review reports within 24 hours and use them to remove objectionable content and abusive players.
- Technical information. Your IP address is used briefly to protect the service from abuse (for example, limiting how quickly requests can be made). The app also checks which version you are running.
Sound, music, vibration and speed settings are stored only on your device.
We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos. If you email us for support, we will see the email address you write from.
Advertising, purchases and crash reports
These features are being added before or shortly after launch. When they are active:
- Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and similar information to show and measure ads. On iPhone you will be asked whether to allow tracking, and players in regions such as the EU and UK will see a consent form. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
- Purchases (such as Premium) are handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of the purchase, never your payment details.
- Crash reports may be collected to help us fix problems. They contain technical details about the crash and your device, not your personal information.
How we use information
- To run the game: your account, matches, balances, items and progress.
- To let you play with other players, and to show leaderboards.
- To keep the game fair and safe: preventing cheating and abuse, and acting on reports.
- To fix problems and improve the game.
What other players can see
Other players can see your display name, avatar, and your results on leaderboards and in matches you play with them.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the game: our server and database hosting provider, Google AdMob (when ads are active), and Apple or Google (for purchases). Your information may be stored on servers outside Jamaica. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your account and the information connected to it. Records of matches you played against other players are kept so their history stays correct, but your name is removed from them. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups expire.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the app: Profile, then Delete account.
- Change your name in Profile.
- Block players and manage blocked players in Settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct it, by emailing us. We follow Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020, and respect the rights given by the privacy laws that apply to you.
Children
3 ah Card includes simulated wagering with play-money chips and is intended for players aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child is using the game, contact us and we will delete the account.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Sign-in keys are stored securely on your device and only in scrambled form on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
